As a research associate at Leipzig University, Luise Klafs is currently writing her dissertation on Ecclesiastical History and sociology of religion. In 2015, she served as an academic assistant for issues relating to the ancient and orthodox churches in the Confessional Institue of the EKD (Evangelical Church in Germany) and is working since as an editor at Gustav-Adolf-Werk in Leipzig. She published "Transformations of the Religious" in 2016 in the journal MD (Materialdienst). In the same year she was scientific advisor for the GEO-Epoche magazine "Das Christentum" and has been a freelance author for GEO ever since. Since 2016 Luise Klafs teaches for the Freie Universität Berlin programs FU-BEST and FUBiS, and since 2017 she is a research associate at Leipzig University.
