Dr. Jan-Henrik Meyer

Dr. Jan-Henrik Meyer is an expert in the field of politics and history of the European Union and closely focuses on democracy, public sphere and identity, as well as on environmental and energy policy. He is currently working as a researcher and project manager at the University of Copenhagen as part of the HoNESt project (History of Nuclear Energy and Society), a European interdisciplinary research endeavor. Mr. Meyer analyses nuclear energy from a comparative and transnational perspective and covers topics such as the international anti-nuclear movement as well as the history and the development of nuclear energy in Denmark - a pioneer country in wind energy.
Mr. Meyer has taught various courses in European Studies in Portsmouth (England), Aarhus, (Denmark) and Trondheim (Norway), as well as Environmental Studies at NYU Berlin.
