Alexander believes the best way to grow together as an international community is by understanding that each and every culture offers a unique perspective on history, culture and politics. Born and raised in Cologne, he moved to Berlin to study economics, political science and sociology at the Freie Universität Berlin. After participating in exchange programs of various lengths to Shanghai, Albuquerque, Sydney and New York, he is no stranger to feeling overwhelmed by the workings and intricacies of a big city. Ultimately, he would like to enable more students from across the world to engage with one another and broaden their collective horizons for more tolerance, awareness, and inclusion.
