Marie-Laure Gagné

Student Advisor
Marie-Laure grew up in Montreal, Canada. Montreal’s multiculturalism and multilingual character were a starting point in her interest for intercultural exchange and appreciation. After learning English and Spanish, she decided to pursue a Bachelor in German Studies at the University of Montreal. Marie-Laure moved to Berlin in 2019 for a student exchange at the Freie Universität Berlin. Berlin’s vibrant cultural and artistic scene, its green spaces and the public transportation system made her elect the city as her new home. She is currently a Master student of German linguistics and literature and the University of Potsdam where she is also doing a certificate in Gender Studies. Marie-Laure enjoys cross cultural exchanges and working with people from everywhere. While working at FUBiS, she hopes to help international students find their way and make the most out of their time in Berlin.
