Carla Christina Degen

Carla Christina Degen graduated from the John F. Kennedy-Institute/ Freie Universität Berlin with a Master’s degree in North American Studies. She received her Bachelor’s degree in British and American Studies and German Literature from the University of Konstanz. Currently, she works as an assistant for Stanford University in Berlin.
Her research interests include: memory studies, questions of identity construction, semiotics and sign systems.
