Dr. James Marsh

James Marsh received his PhD in international economics from the University of Chicago. He is on faculty at the Shidler College of Business, University of Hawaii, and has been a research fellow at the East West Center (Honolulu), Mitsubishi Research Institute (Tokyo), and other research institutions. He worked as a German language specialist in Berlin, has taught at several universities in USA as well as MBA programs in Vietnam and Japan. His research, on ocean environmental and resource economics, has resulted in several organized conferences, books, numerous articles, and other studies.
