Scholarships for FUBiS Summer Term III

July 17th – August 14th, 2010

Please note: the deadline for scholarship applications has expired.

In collaboration with the foundation “Avec et pour autres”, FUBiS awards 20 Full-Tuition Scholarships to qualified candidates from the Baltic states (Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania).

Scholarship applications and related materials are due by April 18^th, 2010(date of receipt).

Description

These scholarships support students from accredited universities in the Baltic states. Awards are based on the applicant’s academic achievements and financial needs.

Scholarship details

The full-tuition scholarship valued at 3,050.00 € each includes:

• Program Fee 200.00 €
• Tuition Fee 1,600.00 €
• Accommodation 400.00 €
• Living Expenses 500.00 €
• Travel Expenses 350.00 €

Eligibility

The applicant should have the citizenship of one of the Baltic states and should be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited institution in Latvia, Estonia or Lithuania. Applicants must have successfully completed at least one year of study at a college or university to qualify for the scholarship. As the subject courses are taught either in English or in German, English or German language proficiency on an Intermediate level is a pre-requisite for students interested in the program.

Application requirements

1. completed application form
2. Curriculum Vitae (CV) that includes the following information:

3. letter of motivation – including a brief statement on your social and financial situation (one page, Arial, 11 pt, in English or German)
4. one letter of recommendation from a faculty member, who is familiar with your academic achievements (one page, in English or German)
5. certified record of attended courses and grades of the last two semesters
6. confirmation of enrolment (copy of student-ID)
7. proof of citizenship (copy of passport)

Please print out and fill in the application form and send it solely by postal mail along with all required materials in one single shipment to the FUBiS Office:
