Dr. Meike Siefkes

Meike Siefkes is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Norwegian University of Science of Technology (NTNU), where she conducts research at the Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management. Here, her scientific focus lies on early-stage financing for sustainable start-ups. Before assuming her current position, she received her Ph.D. in Industrial Economics and Technology Management for her work on Entrepreneurial Finance and Sustainability from NTNU. Additionally, she has a B.Sc. in Sustainable Management and a M.Sc. in Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability (IMES) from the Technical University of Berlin. At TU Berlin, as well as at Lund University, NTNU, and the American University in Cairo, Meike Siefkes gained extensive teaching experience instructing courses on Entrepreneurship, sustainable business models, and Entrepreneurial Finance and Leadership. Her didactic approach emphasizes interactive teaching methods such as case studies or group projects and practice-oriented tools.
