Nellie Shiolashvili

Nellie Shiolashvili is a Georgian career diplomat with 20 years of experience in EU politics and institutions, multilateral diplomacy, and international negotiations. She has served as Senior Counsellor at the Embassy of Georgia to the UK, Counsellor at the Permanent Mission to the UN, and Special Advisor on EU affairs at the Embassy to Spain. Throughout her career, she has contributed to key foreign policy processes involving the EU, the UN, and major bilateral and regional partnerships.
She holds an MSc in European Studies from the London School of Economics (LSE) and BA/MSc degrees in International Relations from Tbilisi State University. Her professional interests include EU institutions and policies, international organisations, human rights, public diplomacy, peacebuilding, Black Sea security, and the EU’s enlargement and Eastern Partnership agenda.
