The student village Schlachtensee is located in southwest Berlin in the district Zehlendorf. It takes about 50 min to get to the FUBiS campus by bus and subway. The city center can be reached within 40 minutes.

The student village is located within immediate walking distance to grocery markets, a number of restaurants and bakeries, as well as doctors' offices.

The center of the district Steglitz is the Schloßstraße. Here you can find several malls, cafés and a cinema. You can reach this area within 25 minutes via the stop “Rathaus Steglitz”.

Moreover, the close by lakes Schlachtensee and Wannsee offer many possibilities for leisure activities.

Facilities

Students will stay in single rooms (approx. 10 sqm) with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities on each floor (up to 16 rooms per floor). Please note that these shared facilities are used by all residents on the floor regardless of gender (mixed-gender/shared use).

This open atmosphere encourages interaction and helps students get to know each other, while still providing private personal space in individual rooms.

Each room is furnished with a bed (including bed linen), a desk, a bookshelf, a closet, and a chair. Towels are not included, so we kindly ask students to bring their own. There is also a laundry room with washing machines (payment is possible by credit or debit card).
